This book discusses how pain can be absorbed in the body. 

2. Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks by Rebecca Skloot

This book outlines how Henrietta’s patient rights were violated in order to conduct unethical research & how this research lead to major advancements in the medical field. Still today, race plays a major role in the disparities we see in medical care across  communities.

This short book explains what the different forms of childhood sexual abuse are and offers insight into the perpetrator’s mind & motivations. Childhood sexual abuse is prevalent in society yet it is a taboo topic and people are just not comfortable discussing it. The more knowledgeable we are on the topic, the more children we can help process & overcome this type of trauma.

This book explains and shows how success in school, work, sports, the arts, and almost every endeavor can be dramatically influenced by how we think about our talents & abilities.

6. Healing is a Choice: 10 Decisions That Will Transform Your Life and 10 Lies That Can Prevent You From Making Them by Stephan Arteburn

This book offers tips for spiritual, mental, emotional, and physical healing

7. How to Talk So Kids Will Listen & Listen So Kids Will Talk by Adele Fabre & Elaine Mazlish

This book gives you the know-how you need to be a more effective parent and to be more supportive of yourself.
